  • Playmore and the Hong Kong touch Association have joined together in a partnership to provide the HKTA the apparel for the national side as well as being the supplier of choice for all HKTA registered teams.

    The newly formed Hong Kong Touch association wanted a fresh look as it breaks away from the HKRFU. Playmores design and product quality shone through in the presentation.

    Playmore have already delivered the striking new Hong Kong National side kit, alongside a number of kits for the annual intercities touch tournament and designs are well underway for the summer Touch league in Hong Kong.

  • Playmore sponsored Aussie Amazons take the crown

  • One of the many hightlights over the infamous Hong Kong 7s weekend was the manner of the victory of the Aussie Amazons. Having chosen to adopt the Amazons name over full representation of their country to ensure they wore the specially developed Playmore female kit, the girls from 'down under' took the Chinese national team to pieces with an excellent display of pace, power and finesse.

    This means the Amazons have won the femals Darwin 7s and the current female Hong Kong champions lengthening their reign at the top of ladder in short form of the game.

  • InProjects Kowloon RUFC is one of the largest clubs in Hong Kong. They currently have teams in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th and seventh division. Alongside these 5 men’s team inProjects Kowloon also have a Ladies team and a growing netball section.

    InProjects Kowloon RUFC has tried to approach this season with a much more competitive and professional nature than before.  They brought in an ex-premiership star and Hong Kong 7s winner Joe Shaw to move the club forward. Joe has come in as Head Coach imparting his wealth of knowledge not just on the field but off it as well. Along with Joe came some other promising players, Nick Hurrell a Hong Kong international at both 7s and 15s came aboard. Eni Gesinde whom knew Joe from their time at Newcastle Falcons has also joined the team and Ben Fear a full bodied prop from Wharfedale joins the ranks.

    Not just known for their rugby Kowloon also have a very active netball section who this year after a summer of recruitment have improved performances dramatically and pushing for honours in both divisions they filed teams.

  • Borneo Eagles Soaring High

  • The Borneo Eagles have been absolutely flying high this season, taking the Asian rugby scene by storm. They have learnt a lot and improved their style of play since their earlier win in the Borneo Club Invitational 7s to become a dominant force in Asia.

    The biggest of their achievements being crowned the plate winners at the Singapore International 7s, and then a week later, being crowned the 40th HSBC-Cobra Rugby 10s Champions at Padang Utara. Having steam-rolled the infamous Penguins International in the semi-final 22-0, they went on to crush the tournament host favourites, Cobra, 32-10 in the final.

    Playmore are extremely proud to be associated with the Borneo Eagles.

    The club, which is based in Sandakan, has some of the most exciting talent on the circuit representing them this season. Players include the likes of the U20 All Blacks stars, Galuefa Falamoe and Benjamin Frano and two Samoan internationals, Siualo Lemalu and Alapasa Cordtz.

  • The Pot Bellied Pigs are a social rugby team based in Hong Kong, but with members throughout the World.

    While not playing in the regular club leagues in Hong Kong, the Pigs play many social and charity games and tour to exotic locations within and outside Asia. We draw players from all the clubs in Hong Kong plus many other locations globally.

    The Pigs are certainly the only charitable, global, non-league-playing touring rugby club in Hong Kong.
